It would be interesting to compare end of life care as a percentage of annual per capita spending across countries. We do a “better” job of concentrating our costs at the end of life when extending life by a few days costs multiples of preventative care earlier in life which extend life by months or years. Of course our surgeries also cost 2-3 times other countries because we have better outcomes….Right? Oh, never mind, at least the medical providers and corporations are paid well which helps support the economy….
I would say mainly corporations,they get the biggest part and that’s sad
