Funday Friday

This drug may work, then it won’t…testing is ramping up, then it isn’t…we’re going to open up!…then we’re not.

I’m as frustrated and tired of this mess as you are. So, time to bring some joy into the world…

You think you have it rough?

This is Suzie, one of our two Newfoundlands, exhausted after a tough morning cleaning dishes.

And here she is trying to wake my wonderful bride…Deb’s not having it.

Finally, for my friends and colleagues in Florida, California, and other points south – rejoice – you aren’t  here in New York’s Finger Lakes…this was yesterday.

But don’t lose hope…there’s this…

  1. I’m guessing that Deb did not authorize you to publish that picture. Have a great weekend – and stay warm and healthy up there.

  2. I am beginning to think dogs will be a key part of maintaining civilization and sanity during this pandemic

  3. I’m in Central PA…. I’ll take the dog and the snow! We’ve barely had any this winter! You can keep the wife and the hospital visit….

    1. I’ll negotiate, you can take the snow, and I’ll throw in a couple pounds of Heid’s Coneys…

  4. Your dog is adorable! Would love to have a Newfie, but it’s too hot in Central FL. Stay safe and warm.

  5. Joe: How I wish I’d known Chlorox would become a first-line IV for the corona virus as I would have loaded my 401.k. I had noticed new bottle design when grocery shopping lately and thought it was unwieldy. Now I realize it is to be compatible with IV poles.

  6. Joe,

    Great dogs and great weather.

Here we have been experimenting with not-dirty martinis. Vodka or gin, vermouth with a dash of Clorox. We feel better already.

  7. Thank you Joe! This was a great end to the week. And your furry family members are adorable!
